Permissions

Tots and Tweenies (Ltd) cannot be held liable for staffs’ actions outside of their contracted hours. Parents should be advised not to discuss their child or other children. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the service we provide, please book an appointment at Nursery with Nursery manager.

Photography: *Tots & Tweenies may wish to take photographs/video of children who attend. This may be to document for learning and development or to celebrate achievements and for their individual displays & newsletter, publicity on social media pages
Medication: *Do you consent to Tots and Tweenies providing first aid and/or emergency medical treatment (including applying plasters or seeking professional advice) and administering paracetamol or ibuprofen if your child has a fever or severe pain?
Visit to local park & library: *I allow Tots and Tweenies to take my child/children to nearest park, library or children centre under their staff supervision.
Observation & Assessments: *I allow Tots and Tweenies staff to undertake and record observation and assessments for my child’s progress.

These terms and conditions govern the basis on which we agree to provide services to you. They are designed to help us deliver and maintain a high standard of service, assist with forward planning and the proper resourcing. Please read them carefully. By signing the contract, you agree to the terms and conditions. Nothing within these terms and conditions affects the parent/guardian’s statutory rights. We require all parents to be aware of and abide by the following conditions.

Fees:

  • A deposit of £50/- is applicable at time of registration. It’s one-time non-refundable administration cost and
    applicable to all services offered by Tots and Tweenies.
  • Fees is taken in advance for all services. (Tutoring, After School Club, Holiday Club, Nursery and activity
    sessions)
  • Fees is payable for the month the child will register and start at Tots and Tweenies regardless of the date they
    joined.
  • Fees are payable during periods where the child is absent from the club, including sickness and holidays (term
    break, bank holidays and vacations).
  • In exceptional circumstances there may be an event that triggers the closure that is out of our control.
    Such events include, without limitation, ‘acts of God’, fire, war, acts of terrorism, strikes or other industrial action,
    infectious diseases, and epidemics, fees are payable for such forced closures.
  • If the fees are not paid by due date on your invoice, company has rights to refuse the services till the amount is
    paid and £20 fine will be charged if payment remains unpaid and overdue after 48 hours from due date.
  • Fees quoted are in accordance with the Tots and Tweenies Limited. Fee Schedule for the number of sessions
    that your child attends at the childcare. Any extra sessions requested over and above those booked, (or part
    thereof), will be additionally charged at the rates specified in the Fee Schedule and must be booked 24 hours in
    advance. Extra sessions are subject to availability at the time of request.
  • Fees are reviewed annually and so any increases will only occur once during the year.
  • Fees is not refundable if a child is picked up earlier than scheduled time. However, A fee of £10 will be
    charged, for each 5 minute late pickup and £30 for 15 minute late pickup. Later than that £35 will be charged
    for every10 minute. Parents/Guardians should be aware that the place must be vacated by the designated
    closing time. If child is not piked up within 15 minutes of their time of collection, Tots and Tweenies have right
    to inform Authorities, social services and handle it as safeguarding concern.
  • Parents must inform one month before quitting the services. If not informed, security deposit will not be
    refunded.
  • If refund is eligible on quitting services, return will not be applicable on the original price rather on agreed and
    paid fees.

The fees are subject to change according to the price plan when the child starts new year.

  • Fees are charged monthly, weekly, quarterly, or session-based in advance and are to be paid by direct debit,
    cash, bank transfer, contactless on the first day to which they relate. Fees will be invoiced to the person(s)
    named on the registration form.
  • Fees do not include any trips and outdoor charges if applicable.
    Attendance & Absence Statutory Requirements.
  • Parents/carers must inform the nursery of absence before the start of the day with the reason.
  • Parents can inform via email, phone call, Text/WhatsApp message or in person. 
  • The nursery must hold at least two emergency contact numbers for every child.
  • If a child is absent without notice, staff will contact parents/carers and, if needed, the emergency contacts.
  • Repeated or prolonged absences will be monitored and discussed with parents/carers.
  • Unexplained absence may be treated as a safeguarding concern and followed up according to our safeguarding procedures.

Safety and Wellbeing:

  • Whilst we take all precautions necessary and have various policies and procedures in place to protect the children
    in our care, Tots and Tweenies Ltd do not accept responsibility for accidental injury or loss of property.
  • If your child becomes ill during a session in the setting, the Manager will contact the parent/guardian, or the
    emergency contact indicated on the Registration Form.
  • Tots and Tweenies Limited is under an obligation to report to MASH and Ofsted any incident where we consider a
    child may have been abused or neglected. This may be done without informing the parent or guardian.
    Cancellation/Removals:
  • two calendar weeks’ verbal notice is required if you wish to reduce the sessions attended by your child.
  • If the manager is not informed 12 hours before the booked slot for tutoring, the amount will not be refunded/
    compensated. On time cancellation will not be entertained in any way.
  • Missed lessons are rescheduled once. There is no rescheduling of agreed missed lessons.
  • Pre-booking for activity sessions is required, and place will be secured on first come and first serve basis.
  • Tots and Tweenies reserves the right to remove/refuse the child from services,
    • If fees remain outstanding for 5 days from their due date.
    • If your child has an infectious illness
    • If your child’s presence in the place will be detrimental to other children within our care.
  • Tots and Tweenies has right to remove child immediately without any prior notice if they misconduct and
    display abusive, aggressive behaviour towards staff and other children.
  • At Tots and Tweenies, our team gives their best support and services. Hence, rude, aggressive, and insulting
    behaviour will not be tolerated and will end in discontinuing services to your children immediately and no
    refunds if any will be made.

General:

  • Parents/guardians are required to notify and inform the Manager if your child is absent.
  • You pick and drop the child at the door. If someone else is coming to pick, you must submit their photo id and
    inform manager before, otherwise your child will not handed over to anyone except the nominated person in

Registration form.

  • If your child is already availing one of our services (After School, Holiday Club, Tutoring and Nursery) and you
    require extended hours of care such as full day during term time break, inform one week earlier to plan.
  • Anyone other than the recognised parent or guardian will not be permitted to collect the child unless prior arrangements have been made. Please note that identification is required for admission and to pick and drop the
    child.
  • It’s parents’ responsibility to update their child records regarding mandatory information required and related to
    the child.

We expect all parents/carers to read and adhere to our policies and procedures regarding illness and absence,
medication, dietary requirements, safeguarding children, security, behaviour, equal opportunities, complaints,
among others.

  • Policies and procedures are reviewed and updated annually. Any changes to the policies and procedures will be
    effective from the day, it will be updated and informed to parents.
